Here’s the picture I was telling you about. It’s plastic, but I could have gotten $40 for it at the game. For some reason, I didn’t cash in on the offer.
As I said, I got standing room only tickets for the game, and we got there early to get a good “stand”. We were pretty excited about the standing place we found. In the mean time, my aunt had trouble getting in with her tickets, and said something to an official looking man standing near the gate. He ended up giving her 6 tickets to one of the party decks that were $80 a piece. So we went from standing room, to some great seats in center field with free food and drinks. It was a fun night, even though the Cards could only get one run on “El Duque”. We also saw a guy who was a little too excited about the World Series Trophy.
